Ask, and you will be given

Dear Pastor,

My name is AAAA, I live in Pakistan. I am the youngest in our family. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters.

My dad is 78 years old and suffers with arthritis, diabetes and cataracts, due to which he can’t see much. He uses a walker to walk with because he fell down two years back and injured his hip quite badly. The doctor says he needs an eye operation, but he is very frail and old for his age and can hardly go anywhere at all. Please pray that the Lord would heal his eyes miraculously, because the Lord has done many miracles in my life and I know He can do it. Also my dad has growths under his feet that make it hard for him to walk even with the walker, these too need praying for.

But the biggest problem of all is that after many years of praying for him he finally got saved two years back, but my eldest brother BBBB, who had gotten saved ten years ago but never walked with the Lord, has got involved with a woman named CCCC who is into magic and witchcraft and uses dirty and abusive language for God’s people and His servants. She also uses such language for her own mother, let alone anyone else. She has led my brother astray and now he too slanders God people and keeps inciting my dad against them, which is leading my dad astray also. And now, encouraged by my brother, my oldest sister DDDD has got herself involved with a man named EEEE, whose family is also into witchcraft, because witchcraft is rampant in these areas, and also idol worship. Now my sister has joined him in slandering God’s people and though she doesn’t use abusive language for them like my brother she is also being led astray.
Please pastor pray for my sister and brother, I love them too much to watch them back slide so badly and commit such since that can lead to punishment from the Lord. I don’t want judgment to fall on them because of these two people who are leading them astray. Please ask the Lord to set them free from these two people and turn them back to Himself.

Also there is someone I know who wants me to marry her brother who is having marriage problems with his wife. Please pray to God that this mans marriage problems will be solved and please ask the Lord to keep this woman from carrying out the plan she has made (which the Lord revealed to my spiritual parents) against me. I also want to request that you ask the Lord to send godly people for my brother and sister to marry and not let them marry these two people I have mentioned earlier. Please also ask the Lord to send godly people for my older sister FFFF and me that we would never fall into the kind of temptation my oldest brother and sister have fallen into, because we all are above the age of 35, and there is some problem in our family that everyone gets married very late, I don’t know why is this so but this too needs to be prayed for.

I’ll be so grateful for this favor.

Dear AAAA,

As this world had been contaminated by Satan, there are more evil things happening every day than righteous things. In one of the last prayers of Jesus (John 17:14, 16), He prayed to the Father to protect His disciples from the evil one. He did not pray for His disciples would not get sick, hurt or even die in this world. He did pray that their Spirit would remain strong to resist the challenges and temptations from Satan (the Devil). After all, God’s promise to man is not to live forever in this world, but Eternal Life in His Own Resting Place (John 14:2-4, Hebrews 4:1-11, Revelation 21) on top of Jacob’s ladder (Genesis 28:10-15). The same place as being prophesied in Isaiah 65:17-18, 66:22 and in Ezekiel 39:28.

Yes. I will answer your request and I have just prayed for what you have been asking for. However, I do suggest that you read the Bible daily as your daily bread so that you may remain strong against ALL temptations. If you do not have any plan as where to start your reading, I suggest you start to read Matthew Chapter Two and the remaining of Matthew, and the entire book of John. Try to memorize some important verses so that whenever Satan challenges you, you will have sufficient power to defeat Him through the use of the Words of God. Repeat your reading several times of these two books before you go to other books in the Bible. As you know, both Matthew and John were hand picked disciples of Jesus. Unlike the books of Luke, whom the writer was a family doctor of medicine who collected information from many different sources after the resurrection of Jesus; and Mark who documented what he heard from Peter also after the resurrection of Jesus. Both Matthew and John documented what exactly they had heard and seen. The book of Matthew tells how man may go to heaven. The Book of John tells who Jesus really is, why He came down from heaven (John 6:38) and was born as a man.

Keep on praying for others first so that God will continue to bless you, and bless you more.
